Samantha has over 20 years experience in the health industry including quality and leadership roles, client relationship management and service delivery, across both public and private sectors in the UK and Australia.
Sam qualified originally as a Pharmacist specialising in Oncology. Sam progressed into an Executive role for the Care Quality Commission responsible for the regulation of the quality and safety of care offered by health care within the UK, before finally settling in Australia to work as an Executive Manager with Health Quality and Complaints Commission. Sam joined mlcoa in 2012 as the General Manager QLD, and has since moved into the EGM position
Sam holds a Master of Business Administration, a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy and Diploma of Oncology along with a BSc Hons in Pharmacy.
Vicky has enjoyed a 15 year career working within the Workplace Rehabilitation Provider sector. In this unique environment Vicky has supported claimants, customers and her teams in the delivery of injury management, treatment and prevention services within a variety of legislative frameworks. With a solid understanding of business needs, coupled with a strong operational management background, Vicky has been able to lead her teams to deliver tailored, outcome based, quality services.
Vicky holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degree and is a full Member of the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors.
Kym’s experience in the insurance industry stems from many years in senior managerial positions. With extensive experience across the Federal Government compensable and non-compensable arena , state based and personal insurance lines she has developed extensive knowledge of legislative requirements, leadership, dispute resolution outcomes through her negotiation skills, solution based customer service deliverables through a strategic and collaborative approach with clients.
As a result of undertaking this type of work Kym has developed extensive knowledge in both the insurance and medico legal industries which has enabled her to deliver initiatives and projects tailored for each clients unique business needs.
With over 20 years experience spanning across public, commercial and not for-profit sector environments Kellie has expertise in people leadership and organisational transformation. A recipient of an Australia Day Commendation for Safety and Injury Management innovation and business improvement, Kellie has led enterprise wide innovative projects redesigning premium strategy and claims management, HR capability and organisational and psychosocial capability. More recently Kellie enjoys the intersection of her previous experiences and business development, product design, client consultancy and engagement.
Kellie has worked as an executive, non-executive Director, and Director for over 20 years across a diverse range of countries, industries and roles.
This includes elite and professional sport, health, professional services, private equity, and the not-for-profit sector. Kellie has worked at the Australian Institute of Sport, West Coast Eagles Football Club, Managing Director at an award-winning global consulting firm, CEO of Men’s Health and Wellbeing WA, General Manager at a global private equity owned health services organisation, and Managing Director of a start-up global eLearning company. Kellie also volunteers her time as a Non-Executive Director of numerous community orientated not-for-profit organisations.
Kellie holds a BSc (Double Major in Neuroscience & Psychology), BPsych(Hons), MPsych, MBA(Finance), is a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor, and is a graduate of the AICD.
Jane is a medical-legal expert with years of experience in the insurance industry, including with a Lloyds of London subsidiary. Her expertise enables her to provide solutions to practical and legal difficulties in injury and claims management to clients in the insurance, corporate and legal services.
Jane holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Legal and Justice Studies.
Michelle has spent over 20 successful years within the health sector, leading teams and implementing best practice health and education services in injury management and health service delivery.
Michelle initially commenced working with an NHS Acute hospital in Scotland before returning to New Zealand and working as a senior manager with the Accident Compensation Corporation designing and implementing secondary and tertiary level health service frameworks. Michelle then worked in a senior role for a workers compensation regulator in Australia before commencing with mlcoa.
Michelle holds a Master of Business, Personal Injury and a Diploma in Health Service Management along with a Bachelor of Business Studies, Major in Accounting.
Tammy has over 20 years experience of working in the injury insurance industry, initially as a Rehabilitation Counsellor managing personal injury claims for WorkCover Queensland. Her career quickly developed into strategic and operational leadership roles where she was recognised as being a motivational leader of high performing and successful business units, focussed on achieving optimal injury recovery and return to work outcomes of injured workers.
Tammy has worked across a broad range of employment industry units, establishing close working relationships with many corporate employers, stakeholders across medical, allied health and legal professions and unions.
Tammy has a strong drive to positively influence customer experience delivery and her passion of working closely with others in a genuine capacity, has seen her enjoy a very successful leadership career.
Tammy holds a Master of Human Services majoring in Rehabilitation Counselling, Graduate Diploma of Psychology, Bachelor of Behavioural Sciences and Diploma of Frontline Management.
Jenny has over 30 years’ experience working in health. After graduating, Jenny worked as a physiotherapist, for NSW public health. Following on from this she moved into the medical device sector, working in a variety of customer focused business management roles across Australia and New Zealand. Jenny also has experience working for a national rehabilitation provider, in a business development capacity. Jenny brings to the role a strong focus on the customer and an understanding of the need to provide unquestionable service.
Jenny holds a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Physiotherapy, a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Science (Sports Physiotherapy) and a Post Graduate Diploma of Business Administration and Management.
Cate began her career as a nurse and midwife in Australia and the UK. She has since gained management experience in the workers compensation, private health insurance, healthcare consulting, medico-legal and primary care sectors. Cate is an accomplished healthcare executive and brings to the role extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, change management, clinical governance, and strategic and policy leadership in clinical quality and safety.
Cate is a qualified nurse and midwife, and holds a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Practice and a Masters in Healthcare Leadership. Cate is also public hospital board director and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
