Samantha has over 20 years experience in the health industry including quality and leadership roles, client relationship management and service delivery, across both public and private sectors in the UK and Australia.
Sam qualified originally as a Pharmacist specialising in Oncology. Sam progressed into an Executive role for the Care Quality Commission responsible for the regulation of the quality and safety of care offered by health care within the UK, before finally settling in Australia to work as an Executive Manager with Health Quality and Complaints Commission.
Sam holds a Master of Business Administration, a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy and Diploma of Oncology along with a BSc Hons in Pharmacy.
Sue has an extensive medico-legal business background with 17 years of experience in Australia’s largest medico-legal provider, mlcoa. During this time she has held senior management roles, SA & NT State Manager for 8 years before moving to the mlcoa national Chief Operations Officer role for 2 years.
In 2010 Sue was appointed Director, Consultant Services Australia for mlcoa’s parent company MedHealth. Her current role involves the strategic and operational management of the recruitment, retention, training and professional governance of medical specialist and allied health professionals nationally across the MedHealth group of companies.
As part of the executive team she works across all areas of the MedHealth business and has been instrumental in the company’s continued growth and success from a single brand to a family of brands that has the top 3 medico-legal provider brands in Australia. Her ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships with medical professionals and clients and her ability to lead and manage teams and key activities, has seen the company’s specialist opinion services expand significantly over the last 7 years through the provision of quality medical experts and services delivering strong value in the marketplace.
Jennifer has gained an excellent understanding of the medical and legal issues facing clients over 30 years as a manager at a state and national level in a variety of industries. A recent major achievement for Jennifer saw her recruit, train and lead a census team of 300 through her own private business consultancy.
She holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science.
Vicky has enjoyed a 15 year career working within the Workplace Rehabilitation Provider sector. In this unique environment Vicky has supported claimants, customers and her teams in the delivery of injury management, treatment and prevention services within a variety of legislative frameworks. With a solid understanding of business needs, coupled with a strong operational management background, Vicky has been able to lead her teams to deliver tailored, outcome based, quality services.
Vicky holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degree and is a full Member of the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors.
Corrine has spent 30 years in the health services sector developing her impeccable operational and management skills, bringing a solid understanding of the sector to her role.
Beginning her career in hospital administration, Corrine has experienced a wide range of financial and commercial management roles in various hospitals and medical centres in Western Australia giving her a broad range of expertise. She has also managed medical practice operations and has held state management responsibilities with organisations including Symbion Health and Healthscope.
Jane is a medical-legal expert with years of experience in the insurance industry, including with a Lloyds of London subsidiary. Her expertise enables her to provide solutions to practical and legal difficulties in injury and claims management to clients in the insurance, corporate and legal services.
Jane holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Legal and Justice Studies.
Kym’s experience in the insurance industry stems from many years in senior managerial positions. Kym’s considerable training has provided her with outstanding leadership, negotiation skills, customer service, trade practices, and privacy knowledge which she brings to the industry.
Michelle has spent over 20 successful years within the health sector, leading teams and implementing best practice health and education services in injury management and health service delivery.
Michelle initially commenced working with an NHS Acute hospital in Scotland before returning to New Zealand and working as a senior manager with the Accident Compensation Corporation designing and implementing secondary and tertiary level health service frameworks. Michelle then worked in a senior role for a workers compensation regulator in Australia before commencing with mlcoa.
Michelle holds a Master of Business, Personal Injury and a Diploma in Health Service Management along with a Bachelor of Business Studies, Major in Accounting.
Tammy has over 20 years experience of working in the injury insurance industry, initially as a Rehabilitation Counsellor managing personal injury claims for WorkCover Queensland. Her career quickly developed into strategic and operational leadership roles where she was recognised as being a motivational leader of high performing and successful business units, focussed on achieving optimal injury recovery and return to work outcomes of injured workers.
Tammy has worked across a broad range of employment industry units, establishing close working relationships with many corporate employers, stakeholders across medical, allied health and legal professions and unions.
Tammy has a strong drive to positively influence customer experience delivery and her passion of working closely with others in a genuine capacity, has seen her enjoy a very successful leadership career.
Tammy holds a Master of Human Services majoring in Rehabilitation Counselling, Graduate Diploma of Psychology, Bachelor of Behavioural Sciences and Diploma of Frontline Management.
Jenny has over 25 years’ experience working in health. After graduating, Jenny worked as a physiotherapist, for NSW public health. Following on from this she moved into the medical device sector, working in a variety of customer focused business management roles across Australia and New Zealand. Jenny also has experience working for a national rehabilitation provider, in a business development capacity. Jenny brings to the role a strong focus on the customer and an understanding of the need to provide unquestionable service.
Jenny holds a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Physiotherapy, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Science (Sports Physiotherapy) and is currently enrolled in a MBA.
Cate began her career as a nurse and midwife in Australia and the UK. She has since worked in the workers compensation, private health insurance, healthcare consulting, medico-legal and primary care sectors. Cate is an accomplished healthcare executive and brings to the role extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, change management, clinical governance, and strategic and policy leadership in clinical quality and safety.
Cate is a registered nurse and midwife, holds a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Practice and is currently completing a Masters in Healthcare Leadership. Cate is also a non-executive board director and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Australian College of Health Service Management.
